In August of 2020, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. During the 5 days that I was in the hospital. I incurred a bill of 100 thousand dollars. With no insurance and unable to work during this time. It was\u00a0 difficult to make ends meet. Fast forward 7 months later. The Tint community found out about my situation and joined together to help raise money to relieve the financial burden. I am Forever Grateful. In June 2019, my wife had a massive heart attack. 6 1\/2 months later, with many ups and downs and a heart transplant, she was home and well, with a new outlook on life. The window film industry came together with auctions on social media, a benefit at a window tint shop in Texas, and a few donation boxes at the International Window Film Conference. A fellow window tinting friend set up a Gofundme page. Through all of the endeavors as mentioned above, over 20k was raised in support of my wife. I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for this industry, I would have never been able to afford the ridiculous medical expenses incurred.
