Our Impact on the Industry
Donnie Dixon
In August of 2020, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. During the 5 days that I was in the hospital. I incurred a bill of 100 thousand dollars. With no insurance and unable to work during this time. It was difficult to make ends meet. Fast forward 7 months later. The Tint community found out about my situation and joined together to help raise money to relieve the financial burden. I am Forever Grateful. Thank you to Rick McIntyre and Dean Mitchell for sharing my story! Thank you to My Brothers and Sisters in this Amazing Tint community for coming to my Rescue! Love you All!

After our accident in November 2021, my wife and I were in jeopardy of losing our business. Both physically and financially. Tinters For A Cause reached out and let us know we were not alone in our fight. We are forever changed and can’t thank you enough!

In June 2019, my wife had a massive heart attack. 6 1/2 months later, with many ups and downs and a heart transplant, she was home and well, with a new outlook on life. The window film industry came together with auctions on social media, a benefit at a window tint shop in Texas, and a few donation boxes at the International Window Film Conference. A fellow window tinting friend set up a Gofundme page. Through all of the endeavors as mentioned above, over 20k was raised in support of my wife. I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for this industry, I would have never been able to afford the ridiculous medical expenses incurred. Thank you, window film industry, from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support!❤️
