Hayden Lake
The Hayden Lake Country Club is a member-owned club rich in history and tradition.
Once a favorite gathering place for the Coeur d’Alene Indian Tribe, the Club location on the shores of Hayden Lake was originally the site of the Bozanta Tavern. J.C. Olmsted, of the distinguished Brookline, Massachusetts Firm of landscape architects who designed New York’s Central Park, was brought out to plan the grounds.
The lakeside resort was designed in 1907 by the leading Northwest architect of the era. In 1927, ownership of the tavern was transferred. It then became known as The Hayden Lake Country Club, and today is regarded as one of the premier clubs in the Western United States.
The HLCC golf course, having been completed in 1912, was the first 18-hole layout in Idaho and has continued to be the mainstay since the turn of the century.
Konopiste D'Este
The D’Este is considered to be more manageable than its neighbor golf course at a length of 6,695 yards and a par of 72. However, that is not to say this course does not provide a challenge. The course enjoys a rolling hillside setting, surrounded by an enchanting forest and a classic European meadow. An exciting combination of parkland and links style courses, the d’Este provides challenging elements with various water hazards and hidden bunkers to avoid. Konopiste Radecky
This impressive course covers a stretch of 7,090 yards and even poses a challenge to those with a low handicap. An excellent mix of parkland and links-style course with elevation changes throughout creates panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. European PGA commissioner John Burns helped design the Radecky course. The Radecky course comprises numerous strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and immaculate fast greens ready to test your golfing ability. Water appears to have been scarcely placed as only a handful of fairways are narrow as they are divided by sparse greenery. A notable characteristic of this course includes its impressive sculptured greens.

The Jubilee Course at St Andrews
Opened on 22 June 1897, the day of a public holiday to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. The course originally had only 12 holes and was intended for ladies and beginners, but successive re-designs has left the course arguably the toughest in the town.
The course lies on the narrow strip of land between the New Course and the West Sands, and is famous for it’s exposed raised tees. Since it was opened in 1897, the Jubilee Course has undergone three major re-designs.
In 1902, the course was extended to 18 holes. This could only be done with the agreement of the Rifle and Artillery Volunteers, which saw play stopped to allow them to practice at the butts towards the end of the course.
In 1938, work began under the guidance of Willie Auchterlonie (Open Champion in 1893). The war years saw work almost stop, but Willie finally struck a drive from the first tee to open the course in 1946.
In 1988, the last redesign was undertaken by Donald Steel. Many holes were lengthened through the addition of new raised tees and, given the proximity to the Bay, the chance for the famous unruly winds to play havoc with many a drive.
The New Course at St. Andrews
Opened in the spring of 1895, the New Course wouldn’t generally be considered as such. As St Andrews’ second course, being built to cater to the increasing demand for golf in the Auld Toun, the name was chosen simply to distinguish it from its older and more illustrious sibling, the Old Course.
It’s a classic links course built to complement the land’s natural features. Shared fairways characterize the traditional out-and-back layout, many well-designed bunkers, and the typically St Andrewan feature of a shared double green for the 3rd and 15th holes.
The New is a favorite course of many local golfers due to the character and fairness of the course
It would be a real disappointment to visit St Andrews and not play the New.
The Old Course at St. Andrews
Renowned worldwide as the “Home of Golf”, the Old Course is one of the oldest golf courses in the world having been in use since approximately 1400AD. The Old Course has played host to many of the golf’s greatest players and most dramatic moments.
The Old Course originally consisted of 22 holes (11 out & 11 in), with golfers playing to the same hole in both directions. In 1764, the society of St Andrews Golfers (later the Royal and Ancient Golf Club) decided that the first four holes were too short and combined them to form two holes. This reduced the course to 18 holes and became the standard for golf courses worldwide. The Old Course has many famous features; these include the Swilken Bridge over the burn, which crosses the 1st and 18th fairways, and the 112 bunkers, including “Strath” on the 11th, “Hell” on the 14th and the “Road Bunker” on the infamous 17th or Road Hole.
One of the unique features of the Old Course is the huge double greens – where seven greens are shared by two holes each. Only the 1st, 9th, 17th, and 18th holes have their own greens. These double greens are understandably very large, with 200 feet putts quite possible.
Another strange feature is that the course can be played in either direction, clockwise or anti-clockwise. Today, the direction of play is anti-clockwise, although the clockwise play is occasionally permitted.
Originally, the course was reversed every week to let the grass recover.

There are trees, but they are typically found on the sides of the fairly wide fairways. Although it provides a challenge from the tips, beginner players will find it to be quite friendly. Beware the 15th as this short, tricky hole requires a precise tee shot to allow for an open approach to the green.
Daegu Country Club
Daegu Country Cub opened to rave reviews, as the majority of holes play through wonderful valleys with magnificent mountain and countryside backdrops. Golfers of all handicaps will enjoy the straight fairway play as well as the wide-open greens. Gleneagles PGA Centenary
Jack Nicklaus described the PGA Centenary course as the “finest parcel of land in the world I’ve been given to work with” and he’s certainly done it proud. Host to both the Ryder Cup 2014 and Solheim Cup 2019, this masterpiece of a course offers a stern challenge in a fabulous setting.
While each tee offers views over the Ochil hills, the golfer needs to keep their wits about them on a course that stretches nearly 7,000 yards from the white markers.
Gleneagles Ryder Cup
The Gleneagles Ryder Cup Course was home to the 2014 Ryder Cup and differs from other challenges at Gleneagles, as it has been made rather than placed. It is a perfect example of how to combine Scottish and American course design, with great rolling banks of rough and broad lush fairways.
This is a modern classic created by Jack Nicklaus and was an enormous challenge to design, even for such an acclaimed golf architect. With many of the greens protected at the front, the key to shooting a low score around the Gleneagles Ryder Cup is not coming up short with your approaches.
A big feature of the Gleneagles Ryder Cup is the feast of spectacular countryside in which it’s set. Putting on the two-tier second green, you can’t help but be distracted by the lush panorama of the rich Perthshire straths.
Golf Club Lazne Kynzvart

Sahalee East- South Course
Sahalee East-South is not an easy ticket but if you get the chance to play here by all means take advantage. Course is tree lined and can get in your head if you let it. There is more room out there than it looks like so pick a line, commit to it, and swing away. Despite all the trees, short of dunking it in one of the many water hazards, it’s hard to lose a ball. Deep and plentiful bunkers fairway and greenside. Greens are raised, fast and contoured lots of fun
Sahalee North- East Course
Sahalee North-East was designed by noted golf course architect Ted Robinson with later renovations by Rees Jones. It has been consistently ranked in the top 100 courses in America by Golf Digest for over 30 years.

Old Course at St.
In 1764, the society of St Andrews Golfers (which later became the Royal and Ancient Golf Club) decided that the first four holes were too short and combined them to form two holes. This reduced the course to 18 holes and created what has become the standard for golf courses throughout the world. The Old Course has many famous features, these include the Swilken Bridge over the burn which crosses the 1st and 18th fairways, and the 112 bunkers, including “Strath” on the 11th, “Hell” on the 14th and the “Road Bunker” on the infamous 17th or Road Hole.
One of the unique features of the Old Course is the huge double greens – where seven greens are shared by two holes each. Only the 1st, 9th, 17th and 18th holes have their own greens. These double greens are understandably very large, with 200 feet putts quite possible.
Another strange feature is that the course can be played in either direction, clockwise or anti-clockwise. Today, the direction of play is anti-clockwise, although clockwise play in occasionally permitted. Originally, the course was reversed every week in order to let the grass recover.
