Detailing is more than a car wash: It is a white-glove service for your car.
What exactly is car detailing?
The term ‘Auto Detailer’ is thrown around loosely these days. High-quality car detailing requires a great deal of patience, experience, training, expertise mixed in with some good ol’ fashioned elbow grease. The ultimate in vehicle restoration and protection. A complete detail will care, restore, and protect every square inch of your vehicle. Whether they are a mobile detailer or have a physical location, there is a real difference between those trained detailers and those who do it as a side business.

Benefits of Detailing Your Car
Whether you entertain clients, arrive at important meetings, or just drive around town, rolling in a freshly detailed car will enhance your confidence as you turn heads.
Owning a car entails many responsibilities, such as keeping it free of dirt and grime from top to bottom. Washing your car regularly isn’t enough to keep your car clean. There are several parts of a car that can’t be cleaned easily by the most common exterior washing process.
A production line car wash where your wheels are clamped in assaults your car’s paint with brushes that cleaned every other car. Touchless washes use strong chemicals and high-pressure spray that strip the wax protecting your paint. A proper detailing preserves your vehicle’s surfaces such as the paint, glass, wheels, seats, carpets, and dashboard.
Although there is no way to keep your car perfectly clean, there is a considerable difference between a car that has been neglected and one that has been meticulously kept free of dirt and grime. There’s nothing in the world that compares to the look, the feel, and the smell of a freshly detailed car. Subtle details such as shiny paint, fresh parts without wear, and squeaky clean wheels and tires can make a car look irresistible. Unfortunately, preserving your car in this pristine condition is next to impossible since driving will undoubtedly diminish the aesthetics of your car.
Like other routine vehicle maintenance, regularly detailing your car is a critical aspect of keeping your car in excellent condition.

Important Part of Vehicle Maintenance
Shiny Exteriors Make Your Vehicle Look Great!
You may remember your car the day you took it home from the dealership- the look, feel, and smell. Regular detailing enhances your vehicle’s paint by getting rid of surface imperfections, improving its color, and giving it a clean, new look. The wax, polish, or another sealant-based layer restore that perfect glossy look of your vehicle. The remaining exterior parts, like the windows and other rubber parts, are treated with professional cleaners and methodically cleaned. Subtle details such as shiny paint, fresh parts without wear, and squeaky clean wheels and tires making your car look irresistible is a primary benefit of detailing your vehicles.
Condition and Extend the Life of Your Interior
Detailing your vehicle can protect your upholstery from your dashboard to your seats from wearing, aging and tearing. You’d be surprised how much dirt, soil, and various substances accumulate in your car’s interior. Dust, mold, and even pet hair become embedded in your car’s interior. Professional detailing uses degreasers and enzyme cleaners to remove embedded pet hair, stains, and other materials from your car’s carpets. The plastic and vinyl surfaces in your vehicle are treated with specialized products to prevent them from drying, fading, and cracking over time.

Protect Your Paint at the Right Level
Apart from giving your vehicle a new shine, auto detailing also creates a protective barrier on your car’s finish. The paint and trim of your vehicle are exposed to bitter frosts, extreme heat, road salt, and several other harmful chemicals on a daily basis. Let’s face it: no one wants to drive their car around with scratched or otherwise damaged paint. By applying a paint sealant and properly waxing, your vehicle is shielded from contaminants such as UV rays, pollution, dust, moisture, and corrosion.
Simple Maintenance
You may ask, How is detailing a part of maintenance like oil changes? You can make your mechanic’s life easier when you regularly detail your car. Bolts and fasteners have a high chance of seizing in place if they are covered in dirt and grime. Coolant and oil leaks are hard to locate when your engine is filthy. Getting rid of the gunk caused by dirt and oil accumulation helps your engine run cooler and perform at peak levels. Mechanics love working in a clean engine bay, and keeping this vital area of your car in good shape is a top priority.
Protecting the Resale Value of Your Car
One of the most overlooked benefits of having your car detailed is the preservation of value. Anyone that purchases a used vehicle will likely inspect the paint, the interior, and even the engine bay. Properly detailing and cleaning your car tells the buyer that you’ve taken care of the car and that it’s worth the price. Whether the buyer is a private individual or the local dealership, routine detailing make your car more attractive to buyers, it can also greatly increase the value of your car.
Detailing Keeps Your Car Safe
While it may not seem like it, a regularly detaIled car is safer than one that is only ran through the local car wash once in a while. Special chemicals made for detailing car interiors and leather components ensure that your car’s Interior is sanitized thoroughly. Your tires and wheels are usually the parts of a vehicle that are the most vulnerable. If you don’t clean them, your wheels and tires will get damaged easily. Professional detailers use special tools and pressure washing equipment to wash away the particles stuck on the tires and wheels. Finally, water spots and foggy headlights make it harder to see. Detailers are equipped with the right chemical solution that can safely remove these water spots and restore the plastic on your healight covers without causing damage. Isn’t the investment in a regular detail wiorth your family’s safety?

Frequently Asked Questions About
Detailing
Why should I choose detailing versus just washing my own car?
Detailing does more than merely clean your car. It preserves and in some cases restores its original condition through a professional, and thorough process involving bug, tar, sap, lime removal, tire and rim treatment, interior leather and vinyl conditioning, carpet and headliner shampooing, wet sanding, waxing and applied protectants that keep your car’s paint job looking like it just arrived in the showroom. Moreover, regular detailing extends the life of your car, maintains the safety and integrity of your vehicle, and actually adds to its value.
Where do you do this?
As we are mobile, we can do our auto detailing at your home or office, as long as our work space is not inhibited by such things as low hanging tree branches, parked cars or anything else that would limit our access to your vehicle.
Our unit is completely self-contained – we bring our own water, power and supplies – there are no hidden costs.
And with our Eco-Friendly auto detailing system, you don’t have to worry about anything harming your environment.
How often should a vehicle be detailed?
At least once per year. Detailing has proven to be effective in getting you a better resale/trade-in price. So, if you are planning on selling/trading your car, make sure to have it detailed within a week of selling/trading it.
It is usually when selling a vehicle that most people consider detailing. But, by that time (an average of 5 years), the vehicle has too much wear and tear to restore it to a like-new condition. That’s why we urge our customers to think of auto detailing as a maintenance program the same as changing the fluids, getting a tune-up, or rotating the tires. Most people don’t realize that in most cases, it is less expensive to replace the engine than to replace a “factory paint job”! We recommend at least 2 to 5 times a year depending on your driving and car washing habits and how you store your vehicle. Is it parked inside or outside most of the time? Do you wash it every other day or maybe only once a month? How do you wash it? Do you spend so much time in your vehicle that you feel like it’s your home? These are just some of the determining factors that we consider in recommending what maintenance schedule is best for you.
Why have my vehicle detailed during the winter or when its raining? It’s just going to get dirty.
Contrary to some belief, winter is a very important time to have your vehicle detailed. We all know it’s nice to enjoy your shiny paint, wheels, and glass when the sun is out without contaminants on their surfaces. Some of these contaminants include but are not limited to mud, road tar, grit, grime, salt, acid rain, and industrial fallout.
When these surfaces are protected with carnauba wax, paint sealant, or a ceramic coating most of the contaminants are repelled away from these surfaces. Any contaminants that are not repelled away are actually sticking to said protective products, not the paint surface therefore can be removed much easier than if your vehicle is not protected.
A vehicle without a fresh coat of carnauba wax, paint sealant, or ceramic coating is exposed to the brutality of the elements. Exposure to adverse conditions can doom your precious paint to oxidation, scratches, swirl marks, and corrosion.
By the time summer rolls around your vehicle’s paintwork is in bad shape. Your detailer will have to spend more time cleaning and polishing your vehicle. Its definitely more cost-effective to maintain your exterior throughout the year plus you get the luxury of always having a clean car.
In order to maintain your vehicle’s finish properly, we recommend having your paintwork compounded, polished, and protected with carnauba wax or paint sealant at least once a year with regular maintenance.
It’s also very important to keep the interior of your vehicle clean all year. The contaminants from the road can easily get inside and stain your carpets, seats, and upholstery. The interior of your vehicle can also create health issues from microorganisms and surface contamination.
Over time food particles, dust mites, fungus, and bacteria will grow inside your vehicle causing you and your family to get sick. We have seen some minivans that actually contained the bacteria level of an entire daycare center. Just like your vehicle’s exterior. It’s all about cleaning, anti-bacterial protection, and maintenance.
My vehicle is new. Does it need to be detailed?
We frequently receive phone calls from customers who have recently purchased a new vehicle. When asked what detail service they would like, they often reply “well, it’s a brand new car so it doesn’t need much”. Unfortunately, that statement often proves to be a bit off base.
Just because your vehicle is new doesn’t necessarily mean the paint finish is flawless. Often times when a vehicle leaves the factory there are many paint imperfections that are missed by quality control personnel. Some of these imperfections are dirt specks, run lines, wet sanding marks, pigtails from a D/A sander, and hologramming from improper polishing techniques.
At the car dealership, many times the vehicle is washed improperly by inexperienced lot attendants causing scratches and swirl marks. Ideally, before you take delivery ask them not to wash your vehicle.
We know you’re proud of your new car. Protect your investment with our detailing for your paint, wheels, fabric, and glass.
My car is leased, should I have it detailed?
Definitely, the better your car’s appearance and condition, the better trade value you will get on your car, and the less they will charge you for reconditioning the car.
I bought a smokers car. What can you do about that?
Smoke odor is one of the most challenging problems for a detailer. We have to clean the entire interior including the headliner and use our ozone generator to minimize or eliminate the odor. Sometimes, another treatment is required. We use the best odor eliminators on the market for all odors including smoke.
